Um...hey?

I'm back! Again!
So, towards the end of January I was asked by a place I used to work at if I'd like to work a few days a week for a while. For the next month and a bit, I was working almost every day with at least one day every week where I worked approximately 12 hours. As a result, 90% of my free time was spent sleeping and the other 10% I spent watching entire series of tv shows - as one does the month before uni starts back up in a lame and half-hearted attempt to 'make the best of your holidays'.
So I stopped writing and drawing and then I stopped coming on DA for...some...reason I can't really put my finger on. Anyway, after the extra work finished, uni started and, being (almost) my last year, things started quickly and proceeded to light speed, almost leaving me behind. However, I was on mid-semester break this past week, meaning I finally had 7 days to...continue watching entire tv series...I mean catch up on study so the second half of the semester isn't so difficult. I also planned to come back on DA which I've managed to squeeze in just before uni starts again.
I'm going to be on DA regularly again but I won't be making any content for a bit (sorry to people who had birthdays since I left, I will be making presents but only for those who haven't received a present at all yet, sorry guys
). After I get through the 180 MESSAGES!!!!!! 
I have in my inbox, I'll be doing little more than responding to other messages I receive in future. Not only because uni is busy but there are a few things I want to do before the year is out. While I do want to finish my book and improve my drawing skills, they're fairly low on my priority ladder compared to other things. And considering how badly I want to achieve both of those goals, you can imagine how important the other things must have to be! 
So, yeah, me again. See me around, give me a wave but don't go asking for anything from me or my response will make you want to slap me (note to self: I'll have to pull my slap-guard out of storage at some point...). But, if you do miss the content I put out for some mystical reason that I can't fathom, please tell me! I'd hate to make anyone sad and it may just be that I'm a lazy bastard who needs to be pushed into putting in more effort. But hey, we'll see!
Anyways, it's good to be back and expect responses to uploads and comments from two months ago!

Well for me at least!
At the moment of writing, the hour has ticked over to January 1st 2014 and 2013 has come to an end. So much has happened this year that, while previous years remain fuzzy, I will remember the events of this year clearly for many days to come.
Today marks my first year of being here on DeviantArt and what a year it's been! I started a book, something I've wanted to do since I was 15 and never thought I would get to do. I started to draw, a skill I never thought I'd have, nor bothered to learn. 'Leave it to the professionals!' I used to say, but I realised, I could enjoy the medium as an artist without being a professional myself.
I started going to the gym, something I had hoped I would do but never believed I would ENJOY as much as I have. I'm fitter, stronger and healthier than I've been in a very long time. I turned 21, a milestone frought with implied dangers, belittling stereotypes and life-changing responsibilities. But quite frankly, it's mostly been a reminder of all the things I haven't yet accomplished, and how simple it seemed to achieve them by now back when I turned 18. I won't be making the same mistake, come my 25th!
I finished my 4th year of university, put in more effort than I ever have previously and achieved grades that nearly made me cry with laughter. I still have two years left to go but I see that I'm going to get a lot more done in that time than the rest of my uni years combined.
One thing I'd like to bring to light is that I achieved 1000 pageviews in exactly 11 months, having the number tick over on the 1st of November. I was so busy at the time that I didn't notice until after the fact and I didn't have a chance to mention it then. So I'd like to say now, to everyone who's taken an interest in my work, started a friendship with me or even just looked at one of my drawings, thank you so much! I've never met a better community of completely different yet like-minded people, brought together by the simple love of art. It may seem tacky or cliche' but I really do love you all as family. And as we head into the new year, I hope to keep your company and grow that family beyond our current measures.
I wish you all the best year for 2014, I hope all that you wish for comes true and all that you aim for is achieved. For me, a lot of things are going to be happening this coming year. I hope you all stick around to see how it pans out. Because personally, I can't wait!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Hey guys!
Just a quick message of good will and happy holidays as my Christmas draws to a close. I was visiting family all day today, and I could never get access to the internet well enough to send this earlier. But, by a good stroke of fortune, I live very far east of most of you so you guys will only just be waking up and opening presents as your day begins!
So, good tidings to you and your families, have a splendid day and be ready for a new year!

Aaaaaaaaaand I'm back!

Yay! I didn't die of some exotic disease never before seen by western medicine!
Yet!
So I'm finally home and it's been non-stop since I got back. Except when I've been sleeping due to jet lag. I haven't even unpacked my suitcase simply because I haven't had the time or energy. But I did enjoy myself, it wasn't completely horrible and I might go back if someone else paid for me, although I wouldn't want to go for longer than 10 days. Everything was a freaking bargain though. If you go to the local 7-Eleven, you can get a packet of chips, a chocolate bar, a bottle of soft drink, a bottle of water and one of these cool toasted chicken pizza sandwiches that you can't get here but should be able to, and all of that costs about AUD$3 (less than USD$3). It's insane!
Anyway, back to safe, clean, overly-priced normality. Christmas is coming up quick so I'm going to be busy until then but after that I'll be working on all my little projects. Speaking of, I've written up all the bits of Chapter 4 I've been working on, I just have to compile, edit and then submit. I should have it up tomorrow (it's currently 11:35pm and I only recently got home from work). So, I guess I'll see you around!
